Okay, for the sake of this story, I'm gonna pretend to be in utter shock and disbelief. Play along...

Welp! It appears that popular celebrity chef, Paula Deen, has bar-b-que'd another batch of southern-styled sh-t turds for herself. In a videotaped deposition, the Georgia native has reportedly admitted openly making racist jokes and slurs. She even confirmed that she wanted to "costume black waitstaff as slaves at a wedding party she was overseeing."

"Yes, of course," Deen replied when asked if she had used the N-word openly. "I can't determine what offends another person," Deen added, according to reports in the National Enquirer and Radar Online. The admission came last month amid a lawsuit filed by Lisa Jackson, who once managed a Savannah, Ga., restaurant owned by Deen and her brother. In a brief, carefully worded statement Wednesday, Deen's lawyer defended his client without denying the reported remarks. "Contrary to media reports, Ms. Deen does not condone or find the use of racial epithets acceptable," Bill Franklin of the Savannah law firm Oliver Maner wrote. "She is looking forward to her day in court." 

Deen, host of "Paula's Home Cooking" and other shows on the Food Network, has become one of the most controversial figures on reality TV. She's been attacked for promoting food with unhealthy ingredients. Last year, she revealed she suffers from Type 2 diabetes, which doctors say is associated with high-calorie diets. Her revelation became part of the ongoing national debate over healthy eating habits and weight control.

Beyonce Settles $100 Million Lawsuit?!

Beyoncé should build a suite on the east wing of the courthouse because she stays getting sued - mostly for swiping other artist's music. Click HERE and HERE if you missed it. Anyhoo, mutha' recently managed to wiggle out of a lawsuit brought by a video game company that sued the singer for allegedly backing away from a deal to create a motion-sensing dance game.

Gate Five filed the lawsuit in New York court in April 2011, claiming that the superstar had acted on "a whim" the previous Christmas with an "extortionate demand" for more compensation for "Starpower: Beyonce." The demandsdrove away a financier and caused Gate Five to lay off 70 people during the holidays, said the lawsuit. Beyoncé's argument in the case was that she had a valid contractual right to exercise termination provisions after Gate Five was unable to fulfill obligations to obtain $5 million of committed financing for the project. In opposition, Gate Five contended that it was on the verge of closing a $19.2 million financing contract before Beyoncé got antsy. 

In late 2011, a New York Superior judge denied Beyonce's motion to dismiss, and a state appeals court later affirmed the ruling on the basis that Beyonce hadn't objected to the loan at the time, the unresolved question of whether the non-finalized financing agreements constituted "committed financing" under the contract and the possibility that the singer's own actions contributed to the collapse of financing. 

Gate Five looked to investigate whether Beyonce had dropped Gate Five in the interest of scoring a better deal with a competitor. The company sought all sorts of documents including a possible audit conducted by Beyonce's law firm on the management company run by her father. Beyonce's attorneys called it a "fishing expedition" and a breach of attorney-client privilege. 

In short, don't stake out the courthouse expecting to catch a quick snapshot of Bey either entering or leaving the trial because there won't be one. Last week, the parties submitted papers in court that discontinue the claims. An attorney for Gate Five couldn't be reached but has been quoted as saying that the lawsuit was settled amicably on confidential terms.

LAPD Release Pics of Michael Jackson’s Bedroom On The Day He Died?!

There is no denying that Michael Jackson remains one of the most beloved entertainers of all time. I, like most, choose to recall the 1980's and 1990's when Jackson — the one who set the unbreakable records, hijacked the charts and pop culture and revolutionized album making and music videos. However, the man idolized as the "King of Pop" is being portrayed in a starkly different light base upon these disturbing bedroom photos released to the public during the contentious lawsuit filed by Katherine Jackson against AEG Live.

The bedroom where MJ died in 2009 was [according to some] a complete mess — littered with bed covers, oxygen tanks, prescription pill bottles and other medical supplies as shown in photos newly released by the Los Angeles Police Department. Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009, at age 50 — with lethal levels of drugs in his system. Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving the troubled superstar a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol as a sleeping aid.

The images of the room where Jackson died are photo exhibits from Murray’s 2011 trial. They show Michael’s unmade bed, with what appears to be a doll partially visible under a white sheet. They also show several metal oxygen tanks and a hanging bag for intravenous fluids. A slew of medication, mostly Propofol, was found on a bedside table. Beesh please fix your eyes on Exhibit A - a good ole' Southern throwback box fan! Nicki Minaj: I love Lil Kim?! [VIDEO]

Eclectic rapper Nicki Minaj recently sat down and squashed some old beef with Peter Rosenberg and showed Lil Kim some love "at the same d-mn time" during an interview at New York radio station, Hot 97. 

The "Super Bass" rapper dropped by Hot 97 for a chat, and while she was there she settled her differences with Rosenberg. Things between them went sour last year when Nicki refused to do Hot 97's "Summer Jam" because he publicly insulted her hit single "Starships." In hindsight, the rapper felt as though she should have just done the show as planned. "I should’ve just came out, because it’s my hometown," said Nicki. "They [the fans] shouldn’t have been brought into whatever we were going through. They had nothing to do with that. When I thought about it, a whole bunch of people were punished." Though she’s no longer upset about the incident, she couldn’t tell exactly what Peter said that makes her so upset. When asked if she ever actually heard Peter blast her song, she admitted, "No. Never. Not once."

 Anyhoo, Hot 97 also asked her about some of the female rappers that came before her like Foxy Brown, Lil' Kim, Lauryn Hill and Remy Ma. Nicki explained that she felt as though she could identify with the femcees stating, "They’re all from New York, too. It’s no disrespect to any other female rappers, but those are the ones that I felt like, ‘Ok, yeah. I could get into that.’ They sounded like me when I spoke, and I just thought they really made an impact." Minaj added, "I always loved Missy [Elliott] because she was playful. With Missy and Left Eye, they weren’t afraid to be goofy at times and I loved that."

Chiiile some crazy fan learned the hard way not to mess with Rihanna!

When a fan got too clingy at a recent concert, the singer used her microphone to give the fan a whack – and it was caught on video. While performing at a stop on her latest world tour in Birmingham, England, Rihanna, 25, left the stage to walk by the crowd of screaming fans, touching hands as she sang "We Found Love." But when one fan held on too long, she was quick to react. In a fan-recorded video, Rihanna can be seen using her microphone to hit the concert goer. Some are saying that the "Diamonds" singer should have let her security detail handle the overzealous fan as opposed to taking matters into her own hands..LITERALLY!

You can hear, "what the f-ck" and "oh my god" in the crowd. This is pretty similar to when Amy Winehouse punched a fan in Glastonbury back in 2008. According to MTV U.K., Rihanna tweeted, "Purpose! That b*tch won't let me go" in response to someone saying the hit was "by accident" but the tweet no longer seems to exist. Go figure!

Kandi Burruss Defends Marvin Sapp; Responds To Criticism?! [VIDEO]

Singer, songwriter, producer, and 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' starlet, Kandi Burruss, has been receiving quite a bit of backlash as of late. Instead of gaining more fans with her hit Gospel song "Stay Prayed Up," the Bedroom Kandi CEO has apparently angered many Christians by collaborating with Pastor Marvin Sapp. Soooo, what does Kandi think about being the source of this harsh criticism? I, personally, like the song. I just can't understand why everyone has their panties in a bunch over the fact that she not only wrote the song but, also sang it with someone who is well respected in the church. Sad part of it all is that most of the backlash is coming from the "aints" <--[I meant to say saints] with their ole' hypocritical [expletives]! And they wonder why they can't fill the pews on Sunday morning. Duh!!!

At the end of the day it should be about "the message" and not "the messenger." Um-kay?!

Grammy Winner Fantasia Barrino Returns to Broadway?!

Word on the sidewalk is Fantasia Barrino is coming back to Broadway this October!

You heard it correctly. The Grammy winner unveiled her plans to return to Broadway during her visit to "The Today Show" on June 12th. No word yet on which show Barrino will star in, though a likely vehicle is the Broadway-bound musical "Cotton Club Parade." The Warren Carlyle-helmed revue is expected to begin performances at a yet-to-be-announced theater this fall. Reps for the musical and Barrino could not confirm at this time. 

Barrino catapulted to fame in 2004 as the winner of Fox TV's "American Idol," defeating Broadway vet Diana DeGarmo for the title. Her debut album, "Free Yourself," received four Grammy nominations and was followed by a second self-titled release. Barrino made her Broadway debut in April 2007 when she took over the role of Celie in "The Color Purple," receiving a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award and Theatre World Award for her performance. She later toured with the show. In 2010, She won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album for her third album, "Back to Me."  Barrino also headlined her own VH1 reality series, "Fantasia for Real." She recently released her fourth studio album "Side Effects of You." 

"Cotton Club Parade" is a celebration of Duke Ellington’s years at the famed Harlem nightclub in the 1920s, when the joint was jumping with revues featuring big band, swing and blues. The musical feature singers, dancers and variety actswith songs by the greatest jazz composers of the time, including Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields ["I Can’t Give You Anything But Love"], Harold Arlen ["Stormy Weather"], and of course, Duke Ellington ["Rockin’ in Rhythm"]. "Cotton Club Parade" began at New City Center's Encores! in November 2011, and then played a return engagement in November 2012.

Singer Tamar Braxton Names Baby Boy Logan Vincent?!

Toni Braxton's baby sister and proud new mommy, Tamar Braxton, finally revealed her baby boy's name in a Father's Day message to her husband Vincent Herbert! 

The couple's bundle of joy, who arrived earlier this month, is named Logan Vincent Herbert. "Happy Father's Day to the love of my life, my best friend, my husband Vincent Herbert! Our son Logan Vincent Herbert & I are proud to share this day with you!! We love you soooooo much!" the R&B singer wrote via Instagram on Sunday, June 16. A black-and-white picture of baby Logan's hand holding his daddy's much bigger finger was posted along with the message. 

The WE TV's "Braxton Family Values" and "Tamar & Vince" star and her husband announced that they were expecting a baby in March, when she was already 7 months along. At that time, the expectant mother said that she felt "great and greedy at the same time. This is the most I've eaten. Vince and I [were] told we were going to have fertility problems - it was a lot of information - so we had to get comfortable with the fact that it happened on its own. We decided not to announce the pregnancy until we were both really okay with it - that's why we waited," the singer explained to People Magazine as to why she and husband delayed the announcement. 

Tamar says that after learning that she was expecting a baby, her mother and sisters showered her with pregnancy tips. "My sisters are making me feel more maternal because they're crazy. They're giving me advice on how to be a mother and be pregnant. They always have a comment about my shoes, what am I wearing, what am I eating, you need to put your feet up and I'm just like, 'I'm fine!' They're too much," Tamar said. 

Kudos to Vince and Tamar! We think they'll be great parents to baby Logan.

Jamie Foxx Has A New Comedy Series?!

Comedian-turned-actor, Jamie Foxx, will be returning to his TV roots landing a new comedy series. The Oscar-winning actor inked a deal with TNT for a new scripted series called, "Dad Stop Embarrassing Me."

Foxx, also producing, was inspired to develop this series based on his relationship with his 19-year-old daughter, Corrine. This comedy explores the dynamic between a parent and a child and all the embarrassment that comes with it. In a TNT statement, it describes the show’s concept which is about the relationship between a parent and child stating, "Every teenager is embarrassed by his/her parents. But what if your dad decided to descend upon your life in every way?"

The 45-year -old "Django" star also has another sci-fi thriller, "31 Days of Halloween" in the works. He will write, direct and produce the project as well. The Oscar-winner has also been busy working on the set of "The Amazing Spiderman 2" and "Annie" all the while promoting his action-thriller, "White House Down" alongside co-star Channing Tatum. With all his hard work as a multi-talented actor, singer and now TV series writer and producer, "Daddy.." can't be that embarrassing, right?

Montana Fishburne, the infamous daughter of A-list actor and film producer Laurence Fishburne, is showing her face again! 

The 21-year-old made headlines back in 2010 when she starred in a Vivid Entertainment produced porn film called "Montana Fishburne: An A List Daughter Makes Her XXX Debut" under the moniker "Chippy D." Whitney Houston‘s Daughter Is A Neighbor From Hell?!

Chiiile they say Bobbi Kristina‘s former neighbors are relieved that she and her play play brother fiance' Nick Gordon have been booted from their neighborhood but, they now fear for the teenager’s life.

A source told American tabloid, The National Enquirer, that Bobbi Kris — who paid approximately $2,000 a month for her unit at the AMLI North Point apartments on Beaver Creek Road in Atlanta, Georgia — and Nick, who’s also her "adopted brother," would often get into violent fights, drug-and-booze-filled all nighters and make death threats against anyone who complained. The source says the pair quickly turned their home into a revolving party door for pals after moving in about a year ago.

"These friends were just a bunch of strangers who always came with arms full of booze and looking for a good time," the neighbor claimed. "I have never been inside their apartment, but I understand from other people on the same floor that there were drugs and liquor all over the place in there. They played loud music all night disturbing everyone around them until 6 a.m. – and they didn’t care. Nick didn’t actually pull his gun out on anyone, but he let it be known that he had a ‘weapon’ and knew how to use it. He actually said, ‘You all better shut the (bleep) up or else!'" Bobbi Kris, on the other hand, would play the "Whitney card," telling unhappy neighbors they should "get off her back" because she’s still dealing with grief from her mother’s death, according to the source.

Whitney Houston drowned in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Feb 11,2012. Bobbi Kristina inherited about $20 million from her mom. She gets 10 percent of it when she turns 21 next March, another portion when she turns 25 and the remainder on her 30th birthday.

Sweet baby Jesus! Let's just hope and pray that Bobbi Kris gets the help that she needs to sober up and clean up her act so she can live to see ages 21, 25, and 30. Um-kay?!

Nicki Minaj Is Cashing In on Booze Post “American Idol”?!

Nicki Minaj may be done cashing American Idol checks, but MsSugar.net has learned that the rapper is already finding ways to supplement that income. 

Nicki has just signed a deal with Myx Fusions, a new wine brand. The colorful rapper is now the new face of the product as well as a part owner of the company, which is a fruit-infused single served moscato wine beverage. We’re told Nicki will spend part of her summer promoting the alcoholic beverage. 

According to a press release, Myx Fusions is the "the next evolution in the wave of moscato mania sweeping the country." Co-owner of Myx Fusions and executive producer of VH1's "Love & Hip-Hop," Mona Scott-Young explains why Minaj was the best choice saying, "Nicki is an innovative trendsetter and has the ability to energize the masses. She embodies everything that Myx Fusions represents - style, spontaneity, and the desire to push the envelope and inspire change. Both brands are perfectly aligned." 

This recent endorsement adds to the rapper's list of existing business deals, which include M.A.C. Cosmetics, Adidas, and Pepsi. Of course the Trinidadian superstar isn’t the first rapper to get into the booze game. Rapper Ludacris is co-owner of Conjure Cognac, Diddy’s CÎROC Ultra-Premium Vodka is staple in clubs across the United States, while Pitbull owns a stake in Voli, a brand he promotes heavily in his music videos.

"Single Ladies" is back and once again the VH1 scripted series will be adding some new faces. For its third season, singer turned actress, Letoya Luckett has been snagged for a recurring role. Luckett will portray the business executive, Felicia Price, who takes no bull. In addition to the former Destiny's Child alum this season [which premiers later this year], we can also expect to see the original ladies LisaRaye McCoy [Keisha Greene], Charity Shea [April Goldberg], and Denise Vasi [Raquel Lancaster] who was added to the roster for season 2.

Singer Keyshia Cole & Hubby Daniel Gibson Salute Troops in Germany?!

Just one day after performing in Amsterdam in support of her latest album, multi-platinum recording artist Keyshia Cole was spotted supporting a different cause. 

In honor and celebration of America’s brave soldiers, the four-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter performed a free, private USO show for troops and their families at Vogelweh Air Base in Germany on June 8. At Cole's side for the morale-boosting visit was her husband, Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Daniel Gibson. "I have such a profound respect for our troops and their families stationed all over the world, whether they are in the Middle East or here in Europe," Cole said. "I feel so blessed to do what I love for a living and am grateful to the USO for the opportunity to perform for troops and show them some love before going back out onto the road again." 

Separate from the USO, Cole performed a show in 2008 for soldiers stationed at Fort Dix (N.J.) as part of that post's Fourth of July festivities. For her husband [though], Cole is a shining star in many ways. "I am so proud of my wife and all of her accomplishments in music and in life," Gibson said. "It is an honor to stand beside her and support her everyday, but especially on a day like Saturday, when we honored, saluted and celebrated our troops and their families through music and our actions. That day was special and we hope to link up with the USO again very soon."

The concert was attended by hundreds of servicemen and women and their families and Cole and Gibson took part in a meet-and-greet following the performance.

Chad Johnson Gets 30 Days in Jail for Slapping Lawyer's Ass?!

Dannnnng!!! Can Chad "OchoCinco" Johnson stay out the spotlight for all the wrong reasons?!

 

It was a slap on the ass that ultimately cost former NFL player Chad Johnson 30 days of freedom. Johnson was in Broward County court this morning on charges that he violated his probation. A plea deal was reached that would have kept Johnson out of jail, but when the judge asked Johnson if he was satisfied with his lawyer, Chad responded by slapping his male attorney on the ass. The courtroom erupted in laughter according to TMZ, but Judge Kathleen McHugh wasn't smiling. McHugh asked Johnson if the whole thing was a joke to him. "I had no intent to make this a joke, because my life is in shambles right now," Johnson replied.

 

McHugh kicked Johnson out of the courtroom. When he was allowed to re-enter, the judge hit him with a 30-day jail sentence and a three-month extension of his probation. Johnson is on probation for charges stemming from a physical altercation with ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last summer. An arrest warrant was issued last month after Johnson failed to show up for a meeting with his probation officer and counseling sessions, and Johnson later turned himself in. This will be Johnson's first stint in jail.

I move that Chad be sentenced to counseling sessions with a certified life coach! His antics and sideline drama have totally overshadowed his greatness on the football field. I'm hopeful that he will soon have a "come back" story that will be greater than all this unnecessary foolishness he keeps getting tangled up in.

LisaRaye McCoy Set To Play A Stripper in "Lapdance"?!

Word on the sidewalk is that Diamond [aka LisaRaye McCoy] will be sliding down the pole once again!

Yep, you heard right! Mutha' will be featured in a movie where she stars alongside her former "Single Ladies" co-star, Stacey Dash.

 

LisaRaye became a household name in the Black community after the release of "The Players Club" in 1998, where she starred as a stripper named Diamond. Since then, LisaRaye has gone on to play a number of roles but, Diamond has continued to follow her as perhaps her best known role to date. It wasn’t until "Single Ladies" debuted in 2011, when she began playing model Keisha Greene, that Diamond wasn’t the first thing people thought of when her name came up.

 

It appears that Ms. McCoy is returning to the gentleman’s club in her upcoming role in a film called "Lapdance," where she stars alongside Lynn Whitfield and Carmen Electra. But her most shocking co-star might be Stacey Dash, who plays a doctor in the film, as the two had a falling out while shooting the first season of "Single Ladies," which many believe led Dash to leave the show after just one season.

Woman Sues After Getting Herpes from Rihanna-endorsed MAC Lipstick?!

A Harlem woman claims in a lawsuit that she got herpes at a Rihanna concert in Brooklyn from lipstick the singer endorsed. Twenty-eight year old Starkeema Greenidge alleges that she contracted the virus when a representative of MAC Cosmetics applied a used tube of RiRi Woo to her smackers. "I wasn’t able to work for two weeks. It cost me a lot of money," Greenidge, a waitress, told the Daily News on Wednesday.

 

She said she slapped MAC with the lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court in hopes of forcing the cosmetic giant to be more sanitary in the future. Greenidge also said the company should train its employees to use disposable tubes or swabs to apply the lipstick.

"This is going to happen over and over again if nothing is done," said Greenidge. When she went to the May 7th Barclays Center concert, she stopped at a MAC popup shop there and let a rep apply ruby-red lipstick to her upper lip. The employee instructed her to "press her lips together and spread the lipstick around," according to the suit. "(MAC) didn’t use a fresh or new lipstick tube, but rather one that had been used for other patrons," the suit charges.

The suit contends MAC "should have known . . . it was unsanitary and exposing patrons to possible spread of disease." Two days later, Greenidge developed a cold sore on her lip that her doctor diagnosed as herpes.

 

Requesting unspecified damages, Greenidge claims the herpes has caused her "mental anguish and emotional distress." MAC officials could not be reached for comment. Rihanna signed a deal in February to create her own MAC makeup line. MAC officials could not be reached for comment.

Her RiRi Woo lipstick was inspired by the singer’s favorite MAC red, Ruby Woo lipstick, according to the company’s announcement of the deal. The release of the Rihanna-endorsed beauty products coincided with the pop and R&B superstar’s "Diamonds World Tour."

 

Don't know why but, I am low-key chuckling at this story. Homegirl should have known that you never try on community lipstick. Her bad! I'll bet she knows better now. Tehe!
